Mass picnic planned in Coventry for 6th June to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day
Join hundreds of school children, veterans and Coventry’s Lord Mayor on the 75th anniversary of Day on 6th June and celebrate the creation of the Coventry Peace Orchard.
Enjoy a carnival atmosphere, with games, live music, poetry, food stalls and an ice cream van. There will a short presentation at around 2.00 pm. Soft drinks will be provided. Bring a picnic and something to sit on.
